SALES ENGINEER - Middle East
After a training period to teach drilling technology, the market, and about Varel's products and sales process in our headquarters in Pau (France), you will be assigned to the Middle East Region. The successful applicant will then:
- Develop a sales strategy specific to your area (market analysis, competition information)
- Analyze our customer needs (geological data analysis...) and make technical and commercial proposals with the support of our Product Application Engineers and the District Manager
- Insure ordering and delivering follow up with our customer and logistic services
- Provide to our customers technical assistance in order to insure optimum performance of our products (set the rig during runs, runs analysis and parameters adjustments)
- Provide reports (sales, forecasts, technical post run analysis of our products)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering
- BS / License /Master in Geology, Physics or Mechanics
- Business or Sales Degree is a plus
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas business or technology is preferred
Skills:
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Arabic for Middle East locations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability, interest or experience in sales management
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents (statistics, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, mechanics...)
- Ability to compose technical reports, commercial proposals
- Ability to adapt and work in multicultural environments
- Must work well within a team
Remuneration: Base salary according profile and location + sales bonus
Location: Middle East (Egypt, Saudi Arabia) You must be willing to travel.
