The Pro-Engineer CAM package is a highly advanced programming tool used to drive advanced Computer Numerically Controlled machine tools. The CAM package is used to program CNC lathes and 5-Axis mills used in drill bit manufacturing.

The CAM package has been customized to Varel’s specifications to insure both quality of machining and efficiency in the use of the CNC equipment. This helps to speed the progress of the drill bit through the manufacturing process.

Varel’s entire PDC bit manufacturing process has been optimized to insure that our bits are precision manufactured to the 3D bit model.
